“Hope Street” features two continious tracking shots, one shoot following along Hope Street itself one vertical shot along the towers from AON, Ernst & Young as well the brand new tower Wilshire Grand. The shot is taken from the top of the US Bank tower, using an industrial robot guiding precisely a telephoto lens along two vertical lines of the city. Capable to move trough – , zoom and collapse space, the machine grants access to the human eye to see the unedited life taking place within the boundaries of the invisible, omnipresent  grid of our modern, capitalist society.
